Why Northstar?

Hi There, My name is David Brown and I am the photographer and proud owner of Northstar Photography.

The first thing I want you to do is stop right here, save this page in your book marks or copy the address in the search box on your browser above and go away. WAIT!!!  Before you do that let me tell you why. I want you to go to google and search at least three other photographers. Then, I want you to come right back.

Go ahead. I’ll go get a coffee and wait for you right here………………………………

Ok, you’re back. Thank you. You may or may not have actually checked out the other sites but I hope you will soon. I want you to do this because it’s important for you to know that there are a lot of different photographers around. We come in all different shapes and sizes, passions, skill levels, pricing and most importantly personalities. Today there are so many photographic choices it’s a little overwhelming. Doesn’t it seem like there are about a bazillion photographers out there on Facebook and Pinterest? How many of those are actual full time professional photographers who make their entire living from their craft? (We Are!)

So why should you choose Northstar? If you’ve looked at those other sites you will see many of the same things; the years they’ve been in business, how many awards they have won, how much they love photography… Well me too. I’ve been around for a long time, I’ve won lots of awards, I’m pretty sure that I’ve spent more time learning about my craft over the years than my doctor, and yes I really do love photography, [CLICK HERE TO SEE MY BIO.], but that’s not what is important. What’s important is choosing a photographer and studio that’s right for you! Yes, It IS all about you!

What you will get from Northstar is exceptional photography that will make you feel great about yourself and your family. If you’re looking for a formal photographer then you might as well leave now because that’s not who I am. I wear jeans and a nice top most every day. (I do have a suit for weddings and funerals though) and I’m fun to work with and I’m not afraid to act goofy in a session. My studio is a part of me and I have spent many years creating a studio that is, cozy, fun and allows you to spend as much time as you need to make sure that you are getting what you need at a price that you can afford.

Yes, I said the word afford. So let’s talk about money. Photography is not a need, like food or a car. It’s a want. You are choosing to have a portrait taken at this time because you want one. Maybe it’s a special event like a new baby or senior photos or an anniversary. It’s important! And if you are going to invest your really hard earned money in photography it had better be good! Actually, it had better be great! Great as in it brings happy tears to your eyes every time you look at your images.

One of the first things you will ask us is how much are you? For some people that means how much for an 8×10? For most of our clients that actually means are you worth the hard earned money I am thinking about investing in you? When you call I will answer all financial questions honestly. I will tell you that we are not the most expensive studio out there. On the other hand we are certainly not the cheapest nor desire to be. If you are a price shopper, we are not for you. That’s what the Mall studios are for. We work with people who cherish their family and only the best photography is good enough for them.

We charge a fair price for exceptional imagery and an exceptional experience and to prove that, we offer an unconditional guarantee. If for any reason you are not thrilled with our quality or service, we will happily refund everything you have invested plus the cost of the gas you used driving to us! My goal is to create an experience that’s so amazing that you cannot wait to go home and tell your friends that you will never want to go anywhere else again. Seriously!

If you are interested in learning more. Give me a call and stop by for a chat! The consultation and the coffee is free. The end result might just turn out to be priceless!

Yours in Photography,
David
